About Car Wrapping
What exactly is a car wrap?
A car wrap is a large-format vinyl film that is professionally applied directly over your vehicle's existing paintwork. It completely changes the look of your car — colour, finish, or graphics — without affecting the underlying paint. It's fully removable, meaning your factory paint stays protected underneath.
How is a car wrap different from a respray?
A respray involves repainting your car, which is permanent and alters the vehicle's original factory colour. A wrap is a non-destructive, reversible process — it can be removed when you want to go back to the original look or change to something new. Wraps are also typically faster, more cost-effective, and offer a wider range of finishes (like matte or colour shift) that can't easily be achieved with paint.
What finishes are available?
We offer a wide range of finishes including gloss, matte, satin, metallic, brushed, chrome, colour shift/chameleon, and custom full-colour printed designs. Visit our What We Offer page or try the Simulator to explore options.
Can you wrap any car?
We can wrap most passenger vehicles including sedans, SUVs, hatchbacks, pickups, and vans. The key requirement is that the existing paintwork is in reasonable condition — heavy rust, deep dents, or peeling factory paint can affect the wrap's adhesion and finish. We assess every vehicle before quoting.
Cost & Quotes
How much does a car wrap cost in Nairobi?
The cost depends on the size of the vehicle, the type of wrap (full or partial), and the finish selected. We provide free, transparent quotes tailored to your specific vehicle and requirements. Call us on 0717 050 753 or fill in our online quote form to get started.
Is a car wrap worth the money?
For personal use, a wrap gives you a completely transformed look at a fraction of the cost of a quality respray — while protecting your original paint and maintaining resale value. For businesses, a corporate wrap is one of the most cost-effective forms of outdoor advertising available, with a one-time cost and years of visibility.

Installation Process
How long does a car wrap take to install?
A full wrap on a standard passenger car typically takes 1 to 3 days. Partial wraps (roof, bonnet, accents) can be completed in a single day. Corporate fleet projects are scheduled on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis with agreed delivery timelines.
Do I need to do anything to prepare my car before I bring it in?
You don't need to do anything special. However, the cleaner your car is when you bring it, the better — any heavy dirt or grime will need to be removed before installation begins. Our team handles all necessary surface preparation as part of the process.
Can I stay and watch the installation?
You're welcome to drop off your vehicle and collect it when it's ready. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and contact you for collection once quality checks are complete.
Durability & Care
How long does a car wrap last?
A professionally installed wrap using premium vinyl typically lasts between 5 and 7 years, depending on sun exposure, washing habits, and care. Wraps that are regularly parked in direct sunlight may show wear sooner. We recommend parking in shade or a covered garage where possible.
How do I wash a wrapped car?
Hand washing is always recommended. Use a mild, pH-neutral car shampoo and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid high-pressure jet washes directed at panel edges, as this can cause lifting. Automated car washes with brushes are not recommended for wrapped vehicles.
Does a wrap protect my original paint?
Yes. One of the major benefits of a quality wrap is that it acts as a physical barrier over your paintwork, protecting it from minor stone chips, light scratches, UV fading, and environmental contaminants. When the wrap is eventually removed, your factory paint remains in its original condition.
Removal & Changes
Can a car wrap be removed?
Yes — vinyl wraps are designed to be removable. When removed by a professional, a wrap comes off cleanly without damaging the factory paint underneath. We offer professional wrap removal as a service.
Can I change the wrap colour later?
Absolutely. That's one of the great advantages of wrapping over respraying. When you're ready for a new look, we remove the old wrap and install a new one. Many of our clients change their wraps every few years.
What happens if a section of the wrap gets damaged?
In most cases, a damaged section can be repaired or replaced without redoing the entire vehicle. Contact us as soon as possible after any damage and we'll assess the best course of action.
Corporate Wraps
Can you wrap our entire company fleet?
Yes — fleet projects are one of our specialities. We work with businesses of all sizes, from small delivery vehicles to large fleets. We offer consistent quality, volume pricing, and structured timelines to minimise disruption to your operations.
Do you offer graphic design services for corporate wraps?
Yes. We can work with your existing brand guidelines to create a wrap design, or our design team can develop concepts from scratch. We recommend sharing brand assets (logos, brand colours, any existing design guidelines) when requesting a corporate quote.
Detailing
What is the difference between a car wash and a car detail?
A car wash addresses surface-level dirt and is a maintenance step. A car detail is a thorough, hands-on process that restores paintwork, removes embedded contaminants, cleans surfaces that a regular wash misses, and applies protective coatings. The result is a significantly better finish and long-term protection.
What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's paintwork, creating a semi-permanent protective layer. It's hydrophobic (water beads off), resistant to light scratches and UV damage, and makes the car much easier to keep clean. It typically lasts 2–5 years depending on the product used and how well it's maintained.
Can I get detailing done on a wrapped car?
Yes — we actually recommend regular detailing maintenance on wrapped vehicles to prolong the wrap's life. We use wrap-safe detailing products that won't affect the vinyl. Speak to us about a maintenance plan if you've recently had your car wrapped.
